"Battlefield 1" Beta's end date will be on Thursday, Sept. 8. The formal announcement by Electronic Arts assures fans that the first-person shooter video game will offer enough time to join the action prior to its official launch in October. However, the video game developer did not provide a specific time in which to expect the test to close down.
"Battlefield 1" developer EA also revealed that an alteration was made for game's Conquest Mode, the multiplayer arena that features 64-player action to catch and protect Control Points, in relation to the duration of the matches. The tweak comes through an update, which was released for the beta, disabling the round timer for the said mode, IGN reported.
Although "Battlefield 1's" Conquest Mode got some tweaks, EA did not confirm if the other mode of the open beta, Rush, will receive any alteration as well. In spite of this, the players are advised to get as many points in the Conquest before Thursday arrives.
Meanwhile, following the start for "Battlefield" Insiders on Aug. 30 and the release for the general public on the next day, "Battlefield 1" Beta's servers were hit with a DDoS attack, making it difficult to log into its online multiplayer test temporarily because of connectivity issues. Nonetheless, EA and DICE were able to fix everything allowing a maximum number of players to return to the battle.
The "Battlefield 1" Beta is about to end, which means that the players can expect the full contents of the release, which include several more modes, weapons, vehicles and environments. Based on the leak provided by user Redditor "1033149," the gamers can have an idea of what is about to come, showing some map names and images that were found while data mining the open beta.
"Battlefield 1" will be released on Oct. 21 for Xbox One, the PC and PS4, Gamerant reported. Watch this "Battlefield 1" Beta walkthrough video here.
