“Pokemon Go” players know for a fact that distance of the pocket monsters is important when capturing them is at hand. Players thus have to move towards that direction to get a better shot and chance of capturing the critter.
Unfortunately, that doesn’t hold true all the time especially for players stagnant. There is also the possible factor that getting to that place where the “Pokemon Go” characters are impassable, with reference to locations that are not accessible.
Regardless, some have tried to weather the obstacle though it may result in wasted Pokeballs. Depending on how accurate a player’s aim is, it may take more than one throw to capture the elusive Pokemon.
That doesn’t even include instances where Pokemon can get out. Though Niantic has not touched on it, the belief is that tweaks were made to make the game better by making it harder to capture the characters, regardless if they are common or rare.
Saving up ammunition
As covered in a previous post, it was mentioned how Niantic may have purposely made it harder to get Pokeballs. That plus the fact that the spotted critters can now escape have drawn criticism.
Nevertheless, the best way is to throw Pokeballs wisely and target Pokemon which is worth the effort. If people don’t mind, they can always head on to the store and buy ammunition, a revenue scheme that many are pointing out.
Better chances of capturing with AR Mode On
According to report, an interesting tip tied up with the AR (Augmented Reality) mode. Some have opted to turn it off to save on battery though it may be of use when throwing from a distance.
All players have to do is position the Pokemon target to the bottom of the screen and throw the Pokeball as players normally do. This way, “Pokemon Go” players no longer have to lob their ammunition as they try to aim at a target that may be too far to reach.
For players who have had their share of frustrations, this should be a tip worth trying. It may make the difference between saving up Pokeballs which seem hard to come by these days.
