iOS device owners will get a new game, The Walking Dead: Assault that will debut on Nov. 30 . The game is based on the popular graphic novel by Robert Kirkman.
The game is being developed by Gamagio Ltd., with collaboration from Skybound and Skybound Asia, IGN reported. The story in the game is similar to the first comic in the series where Sheriff Rick Grimes comes to the hospital unaware of how he got there in the first place with the outbreak of the undead. Players will visit the famous locations from the comics' early series. Locations include travelling through Atlanta and campsite that's used by survivors. The setting has been created in 3D art comic visual style.
Players can create four characters which they can choose from with fan favorites like Rick, Lori, Carl, Glenn, Shane, Andrea, Carol, Sophia and Dale. Players can also regularly upgrade their team. Each character has unique abilities. The gameplay includes tasks like distracting walkers by using flare guns or by triggering car alarms. There are four levels of difficulty in the game.
Every cleared bonus objective or challenge will unlock new content that includes artwork, wallpapers and behind-the-scenes trivia from "The Walking Dead. " The Game Center is integrated with achievements and leaderboards.

During lunch the game will be priced $1.99 but will eventually be increased to $2.99. The game is optimised for iPhone 5's retinal display and will automatically enhance for iPad, IGN reported.
