Someone is set to be back before "Bones" Season 12 will take its final curtain call. Eddie McClintock will return to reprise his role as Tim "Sully" Sullivan, the ex-boyfriend of Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel).
Sully's Return
Eddie McClintock confirmed the news on his Twitter page as he, too, is excited to come again in "Bones" Season 12 before it ends. "Hey @BONESonFOX fans. It's official. I will reprise my S2 role as 'Sully!'
So honored," he tweeted. To recall, Sully has been seen with a short-lived relationship with Brennan in "Bones" Season 2.
The two have been partnered while Booth (David Boreanaz) still sidelined to "see a shrink," TV Line reported. However, after the demise of Sully's FBI partner, he realized that life is too short and he should do everything he wants. He, then, asked Brennan for a Caribbean cruise in a yacht he named after her, but as she rejected his offer, he just suddenly gone.
Now that Sully returns in "Bones" Season 12 and Brennan is already married to Booth, will this affect the two's shaking relationship? Although the couple seems happy living with their two kids, there are swirling rumors that they having an altercation and their marriage is put to a test.
