Fans might get to see the brothers Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) together again in the return of "Supernatural" Season 12. Aside from that, another comeback is highly anticipated as Castiel (Misha Collins) is also set to arrive in the fantasy horror TV series.
The Return Of Castiel In 'Supernatural' Season 12
Fans have been long waiting for the return of Castiel in "Supernatural" Season 12. Although he has been known for his angelic character, he is about to be back with bolder, but better personality. In fact, the show's showrunner Andrew Dabb had a different plan to make in the return of Misha Collins' role.
"This year ... we're using Castiel in stand-alone episodes in a way that he hasn't been used in a long time," Andrew Dabb told Entertainment Weekly. Misha Collins, too, is happy to know that his character as Castiel is back in full action in "Supernatural" Season 12. "I'd kind of like to see him go back to being the badass warrior ... from Season 4 ... and revisit that aspect of his character," he said.
Misha Collins even recalled the things he wanted to do with his character in the previous seasons of "Supernatural" that didn't come to life. However, everything is now bound to happen in "Supernatural" Season 12 as Castiel is back with a vengeance, as per iTech Post.
Dean, Sam Reunited?
Meanwhile, Headlines & Global News reported that the premiere episode of "Supernatural" Season 12 will deal with the major cliffhanger of the previous season. Fans might get to see Dean and Sam in the very first episode, although they are on the different parts of the world. Hence, there is a big chance that the TV series will start with the imminent reunion of the two brothers, even though it won't be in the initial offering. "Supernatural" Season 12 will return on Oct. 13 on The CW.
