Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is likely to be released soon. According to reports, the current price offering of Microsoft Surface Pro 4 for $1,308.00 seems like a clear indication of an upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5 launch.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to feature the Windows 10 Pro operating system. Weighing only 1.73 lbs, the new device comes with an 8.0 MP rear autofocus camera with 1080 HD video recording capacity and a 5.0 MP front HD camera.
The connectivity features of Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be 802.11ac Wi-Fi wireless technology and IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n compatible Bluetooth 4.0 wireless capability. Other excellent features include Stereo speakers with Dolby audio and Stereo microphones. Also, the buyers will be allowed as well to use the Surface Pen.
In addition, the new Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is also reported to come in a 12.3-inch screen with 2736 x 1824 pixel resolution. A 6GB of RAM and 256GB or 126GB of internal storage capacity will be among its features as well.
Microsoft Surface Pro 5 device, according to reports, will come with a rechargeable stylus. Based on Microsoft's patent application, the stylus could offer charging current for the battery recharging through one or more terminals that are configured to contact charging contacts of a linked stylus charger, according to University Herald.
The Kaby processors have already been shipped by Intel to the PC manufacturers. However, there are rumors claiming that the launch of the new device will be postponed to 2017, due to the Kaby Lake processor's unavailability.
With that said, others believe that it makes sense to wait instead of rushing a summer release. Considering that the Intel processors are not completely available yet, others believe that it is important for Microsoft to provide much time to finish the product and make it right instead of targeting an unpredictable time frame, The Bitbag reported.
Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be available in three variants and will be offered for $1,599, $999 and $899. Watch the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 concept trailer here.
