It looks like the last and final "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 will be full of revelations and comebacks of some of the favorite characters. First, April Kepner (Sarah Drew) and Jackson Avery's (Jesse Williams) relationship will be finally put to an end.

According to the executive producer Shonda Rhimes, "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 will tackle the split up of April and Jackson. It has been known that the two have an on-and-off relationship and their recent separation will be answered in the final installment of the long-running drama. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the 46-year-old writer hinted what fans might see in the said leading characters.
"This season will explore in a much lighter way, what it means to be uncoupled, to be divorced, and to have a kid, and how you do that?" she said. "They're going to really try to do this in a healthy way ... is that healthy way going to feel so healthy when they still have feelings for each other?" April and Jackson's relationship is one of the main focus and source of the show's heavy drama.
Sandra Oh And Other Original Cast Return!
Meanwhile, fans might see the return of a much-loved character, Christina Yang (Sandra Oh), in the coming of "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13. To recall, Kelly McCreary, who portrays Dr. Margaret Pierce, first hinted the return of the 45-year-old star when she said that the coming season will focus on original characters. The 35-year-old actress told Unreality TV that they are set to see where these previous originals roles are in now and what they are doing in their lives.
Kelly McCreary added that they are going to explore what happened to these characters in the course of "Grey's Anatomy" 13 seasons. Hence, as "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 will show fans the lives of their previous favorite stars, they are about to see and treated with cameo roles of some of the original cast. "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 will return on Sept. 22 on ABC.
