The first part of "The Fosters" Season 4 concluded by giving fans a mix of emotions and much more to wait for. Evidently, the American family drama lives to its theme by tackling the family problems of today and the issues every teen is facing.
Brandon, Cortney's Breakup
Brandon (David Lambert) decided to set aside everything he wants to prioritize what he needs for his future in "The Fosters" Season 4. According to Zap2It, the role of the 22-year-old star was seen gradually matures while in his relationship with Cortney (Denyse Tontz) and her son. However, as he is now in New York for the audition of Julliard, he sent the character of the 21-year-old star a "breakup letter" to end everything between them.
But, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Peter Paige revealed that "The Fosters" Season 4 didn't simply ignore the breakup between the two. In fact, fans will get to see how their separation will roll out. "Yes, in early season 4B, you will see how that all played out," he said. Hence, Denyse Tontz will be definitely back in the continuation of the TV series.
Will Brandon Asks For Cortney's Forgiveness?
To recall, Brandon broke up with Courtney assuming that his try-out in Julliard will be a success. He strongly believes that splitting up with his girlfriend would help him to audition without pressure in "The Fosters" Season 4. Carter Matt reported that Brandon doesn't have the time to talk with Courtney about their future, so it is more likely that she would get his letter first before he personally talks to her.
Also, Brandon's stays in San Diego will definitely take its toll on their relationship. It is not yet known if Cortney will wholeheartedly accept him once again after the things he said to her while he is still in New York City. However, he might beg and ask for her forgiveness in the second part of "The Fosters" Season 4, which is expected to be out in 2017 on Freeform.
