"Game of Thrones" fans have been wondering about Gendry for some time now. The bastard son of Roberth Baratheon was last seen rowing away from Stannis and Melisandre's evil plans back in Season 3. However, there is hope that the unfortunate character will finally return in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. In addition to that, Gendry could reunite with Arya Stark and possibly help her tick off some names from her kill list.

In "Game of Thrones" Season 3, Gendry was separated from Arya Stark as Melisandre decided she could use him to strengthen Stannis Baratheon. Luckily, Davos Seaworth decided to save Gendry by sending him away on a boat with an order to "keep rowing". But will he finally row back into the storyline in "Game of Thrones" Season 7?

Remember back in July when David Benioff and Dan Weiss announced that Gendry is "still rowing"? Game N Guide reported that nobody really believed them because of the whole Jon Snow thing, who they announced was officially dead. So who would really believe them now that they are claiming Gendry will not return in "Game of Thrones" Season 7?

Gendry Confirmed To Reunite With Arya Stark In 'Game Of Thrones' Season 7 By George R.R. Martin?

According to The Grumpy Fish, George R.R. Martin revealed to "A Song of Ice and Fire" theorist Preston Jacobs that Gendry will be back in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. The character will reportedly reunite with Arya Stark, but his storyline was not confirmed. There are speculations that Gendry will eventually help Arya take some names off her kill list.
