"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Salvation DLC is set to be released on Sept. 6 on PS4 and Treyarch, in its latest trailer has given fans an overload of zombie goodness. The trailer shows the Origins crew from the previous "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Zombies DLC returns. The long-running DLC series has gained more popularity than the original game and this would be the final installment.
The trailer shows the Origins crew coming face-to-face with Dr. Monty and an ancient evil looking to annihilate the fabric of their very dimension. "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Salvation DLC Pack includes four new multiplayer maps - Micro, Rupture, Citadel and Outlaw. It also includes "Revelations," which is the thrilling climax of the Origins Zombies saga.
Certain never-seen-before maps may also be added to "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Salvation DLC Pack. In the latter parts of the trailer, a giant non-zombie creature makes its appearance and it looks something from "Gears of Wars," writes Mobile & Apps.
The core gameplay won't change, however. Players would still have to round-up zombies and kill them in various areas of the game. Most of the old zombie-types can still be seen in the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Salvation DLC Pack although Treyarch has also introduced new weapons, also shown in the trailer.
Easter Eggs are also highly-anticipated in the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Salvation DLC, just like other zombie mission in most "Call of Duty" games. Fans are also eagerly expecting Treyarch to introduce "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," releasing this year. "Salvation" Zombies DLC could be the last one for the series.
The "Call of Duty" game has evolved immensely since the time it was simply a zombie survival game where players just had to kill waves and waves of zombies.
