In fact, it now starts as The Flash himself now forgets how to live his life as he seems to forget everything about his past, as per Screen Rant.
Moreover, there are swirling rumors that Francine West (Vanessa A. Williams), the mother of Iris (Candice Patton), might be brought to life in "The Flash" Season 3. This issue was addressed by the show's co-showrunner Todd Helbing as he hinted that fans are about to see returning characters.
