There is already a petition asking Netflix to develop a show based on the infamous "Thor: Ragnarok" video that shows what Thor was doing while "Captain America: Civil War" was in full swing. Fans Start Petition For Netflix Show Starring Thor And Darryl
Although it was originally shared during the recent San Diego Comic-Con, Taika Waikiki's short "Thor: Ragnarok" mockumentary was finally released on social media. Not surprisingly, fans LOVED it because well, it's just plain hilarious. However, it looks like some fans loved it so much that they are asking for a TV series based on the "Team Thor" video.
Marvel fan Ty Schmidt started the petition on Change.org after seeing the awesome "Thor: Ragnarok" video. The petition page reveals the fan got the idea after seeing a comment suggesting that the mockumentary should be made into a Netflix show (via ComicBook). It certainly looks like people want to see it happen as well. The petition is already getting more than 1,400 supporters. However, it is still unknown whether Chris Hemsworth and Taika Waititi would be interested in doing the series.
Will Chris Hemsworth And Taika Waititi Collaborate For Thor's Netflix Show?
The "Team Thor" video is obviously the work of "Thor: Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi, since it follows pretty much the same format as his other mockumentary "What We Do In The Shadows". It is clear that the proposed Netflix show will not work too well unless Chris Hemsworth and Waititi are involved. Unfortunately, neither have commented on the petition just yet.
