"House of Cards" Season 5 is set to be back and actor Michael Kelly revealed that they are about to do crazier stuff this time around. Aside from that, the 47-year-old star revealed that fans are about to see some changes in the upcoming new installment.
Will Doug Stamper Die In 'House Of Cards' Season 5?
"I feel like any big changes that have happened on the show, it's always well-warranted or well-deserved," Michael Kelly told Deadline, as per International Business Times. "They might have to wait longer than on your typical TV show, but they will bring you back." One of the major changes fans might see in "House of Cards" Season 5 is the demise of his character as Doug Stamper.
In fact, there are strong fan-made theories that Doug is going to die in "House of Cards" Season 5. However, Michael Kelly keeps mum about the assumptions and only uttered that he is thankful that his role in the political drama is still alive. He, then, only teased that he is now busy filming the show's episode one and two and excited how the story will unfold.
Claire To Assassinate Frank?
Moreover, aside from Doug's assumed death, fans might also see how Michael Kelly's character will betray Frank (Kevin Spacey) in "House of Cards" Season 5. The show's lead star will be seen making wrong decisions in the coming episodes. Also, there's a big chance that his wife, Claire (Robin Wright), will become an ally of Doug, Christian Today reported.
To recall, in the original "House of Cards, Frank was murdered by his own wife. Hence, the same thing is expected to be seen in Netflix's "House of Cards" Season 5. Doug, too, is said to take part on this imminent assassination, either he will help Frank to survive or Claire to shoot. "House of Cards" Season 5 is set to return in early 2017 on Netflix.
