The anticipation for "The Walking Dead" Season 7 is getting stronger by the minute. And while some are just counting the days until they will learn the characters' fate in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 premiere, some have not given up in guessing as to who was Lucilled by Negan.
If "The Walking Dead" Season 7 is aiming for a shock factor, there's a big chance that they will kill off a major character. This leads to the question if they are ready to kill off Daryl (Norman Reedus)? Daryl already almost didn't make it once before.
"The Walking Dead" March season finale may have caused a few panic attacks for fans of the hit show. It ended with a bloody cliffhanger where Daryl was shockingly shot by Dwight (Austin Amelio) point blank and fans have no idea if Daryl is dead or alive.
One of the unofficial mottos of "The Walking Dead" fandom is "if Daryl dies, we riot," so episode writer and showrunner Scott Gimple obviously knew what he was doing when die-hard fans saw Daryl's blood splatter across the screen at the end of "The Walking Dead" Season 6, Episode 15, titled "East."
Tech Insider caught up with the actor behind the double-crossing Savior, Austin Amelio, to get his take on what happened between Dwight and Daryl in those final seconds. Austin Amelio revealed that Dwight didn't intend to kill Daryl, he just wanted to show that he meant business and he wanted to be taken seriously. Austin Amelio revealed a secret that the last line "You'll be all right" was actually added later by Gimple so that viewers wouldn't hate Dwight as much.
Have you guessed Negan's victim yet? For now all we can do is to wait for "The Walking Dead" Season 7 as it premieres in AMC this October 23.
