The Batman solo film director teased a glimpse at a screen test footage showing DC comic book villain Deathstroke. But who is playing Slade Wilson in the upcoming DC Extended Universe films (note that it's plural, but more on that later)? Is it Joe Mangianello or Julian Lewis Jones?
Ben Affleck Uncharacterically Teases Deathstroke's DCEU Debut In 'Justice League'?
It was a tweet that launched a thousand speculations, although it did confirm one thing: Deathstroke is coming to DCEU, and he looks pretty good. But could Joe Mangianello play Slade Wilson in "Justice League"? The actor has been confirmed to be in London, thanks to his former "True Blood" costar Stephen Moyer.

Fans also believe that Joe Mangianello could be in "Justice League" since he recently started following director Zack Snyder on Twitter. However, there has been no announcement that the "Magic Mike XXL" star will be in the DCEU flick. On the other hand, there is another actor who recently joined the cast and he looks like an excellent candidate for Deathstroke as well.
Is Julian Lewis Jones Playing Deathstroke In DCEU's 'Justice League'?
The "Invictus" star joined the cast of "Justice League" back in July and was immediately rumored to play the film's main villain Steppenwolf. However, Ben Affleck's Deathstroke tweet kickstarted new speculations that Julian Lewis Jones will portray DCEU's Slade Wilson (via ComicBook).
So who is playing Deathstroke? It might also be a good idea to keep an eye out for actors who landed multiple film deals with Warner Bros. Game N Guide recently reported that although Slade Wilson will possibly be introduced in "Justice League" on November 17 next year, the villain is set to have a major role in Ben Affleck's Batman solo film.
