Woody Allen finally put an end to the mystery of his coming TV series, "Crisis in Six Scenes." Some photos from the set of the show are now emerging online -- giving a glimpse of its settings, stars and theme.
'Crisis In Six Scenes' Plot & Theme
"Crisis in Six Scenes" is set in the 1960s era that tells the story of the old-fashioned suburban couple, Woody Allen and Elaine May. The two will be visited by their friend, John Magaro, together with his fiancée Rachel Brosnahan. This conservative pair, on the other hand, will be surprised by Miley Cyrus' rebel ways inspired by community leaders and caught up by the early demonstrations.
Basically, "Crisis in Six Scenes" features the intertwined lives of the aforementioned characters. Each one of them has different backgrounds, personalities, beliefs and more, but they still try to understand each other. This, too, portrays how can a person be affected when someone comes to their life and make them question everything, according to Entertainment Weekly.
"Crisis in Six Scenes" is also described as a comedy TV series as stars are spilling their own impromptu dialogues. However, although they are improvising their spiels, the show still has a strong storyline complete with a beginning, middle and an end. But Woody Allen revealed that "Crisis in Six Scenes" will only run in one season with just six episodes.

Moreover, even if "Crisis in Six Scenes" has the 1960s theme, Miley Cyrus looks very 2000 in her what-it-seems-like "Hannah Montana" appearance. Wearing her long blonde wig, multicolored poncho and green pants, she looks very hippie in that period of time. In another snap, Liam Hemsworth's girlfriend was seen looking into something while wearing an innocent smile, Daily Mail reported.
Meanwhile, as per "Crisis in Six Scenes" IMDb page, not every cast will stay in the TV series until it's done. Woody Allen, Elaine May, John Magaro, Rachel Brosnahan and Miley are all set to appear in the six episodes. Sondra James will only be seen in three and the other stars will only have one episode. "Crisis in Six Scenes" will start on Sept. 30 on Amazon Prime.
