Grand Theft Auto V is coming to the PC, no foolin’? Well, not exactly.
Despite any official announcement from Rockstar, at least one EB Games store is offering pre-orders on PC versions for GTA V. Redditor “Willomo” snapped this photo at his local EB Games store, showing some mock ups.
A PC version isn’t listed on the company website, so this is more than likely just a case of the store hedging its bets that a PC release is on the way. From the Reddit thread the picture originally appeared on, former EB Games employees have professed that this seems to be a standard practice for the company.
Rockstar still hasn’t officially announced a PC, or Wii U version for GTA V. Last we heard, when asked about the game’s release for any platforms, Rockstar’s chief Dan Houser said, “Everything is up for consideration. That’s all I can give you.”
Meanwhile, the petition to get GTAV on the PC is still going strong with, having received over 30,000 signatures, almost a third of its intended goal, in just a few short days. If you’re interested in seeing GTA V on PC, you can sign the petition here.
Keep your eyes peeled for deals, and if you happen to spot any other seemingly bogus offers while you're avoiding getting stomped come Black Friday, let us know.
We’ll keep you posted on any further GTA V news.
