Konami is preparing to launch "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Definitive Experience." The title will feature both "Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes" and "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain," together with the DLC released for both games.
"Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience" will be a collection of both games, plus various DLCs. "Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes" served as a foundation and solo introductory chapter for "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain," which subsequently became one of the best games of 2015.
PC Gamer revealed that "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Definitive Experience" will include more Mother Base currency and several items like the Adam-ska special handgun, Maschinen Taktische Pistole 5 Weiss, Windurger S333 combat special and Rasp Short-Barrelled shotguns. It also includes various personal ballistic shields and several costumes for "The Phantom Pain." The title will also feature missions from "Ground Zeroes" that were previously console-exclusive, namely Déjà vu and Jamais Vu.
GameSpot stated that some of the "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" DLC content included in the collection are personal ballistic shields, fatigues of different colors and tacks. It also comes with cardboard boxes, emblems, costumes and Bionic Arm Gold.
The "Metal Gear Solid Online" DLC content includes the Cloaked in Silence expansion pack, Battle Appeal pack, Basic Apple pack, Hero Appeal pack and Dance Appeal pack, among others. It also includes the AM MRS-4 Gold, WU S.Pistol Gold and Metal Gear Rex helmet.
Konami president TomotadaTashiro said that "Metal Gear Solid 5" has garnered over 60 industry awards and recognitions. "Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience" will provide gamers an opportunity to play the completely MGSV experience without any interruption. Via Metal Gear Online, players can also access a completely unique multiplayer setting made for an engaging experience.
"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Definitive Experience" will launch on October 11 in the United States and Oct. 13, 2016 in the United Kingdom. The PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions will cost $49.99, although the price on Steam has yet to be confirmed.
