Xbox Live's own Larry Hryb has once again done humanity well, offering up some of Borderlands 2's robotic delight more memorable quotes via sound files that are now available on his major nelson site.
They're full of popular clips you've heard before, as well a few you might not, including minion orders, Claptrap's chagrin for stairs, and of course, plenty of wub wub. You can grab the files for yourself here, just remember, "These audio clips are provided for personal, non-commercial use only."
Showing no signs of slowing down, the newest DLC episode for Borderlands 2 was released earlier this week, and with rave reviews so far.
About as long as the last DLC, Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage is about the same length, and similarly includes new content, such as trophies, weapons, new challenges for badass ranks, and a new currency called "Torgue Tokens" that can be used to purchase weapons from a new type of vending machines. Each machine offers new weapons, including one legendary weapon as a daily special.
The DLC is centered around the discovery of another Vault on the world of Pandora, located in the colorfully named "Badass Crater of Badassitude." The Vault will only open "once the champion of Pandora feeds it the blood of the ultimate coward," so of course, Mr. Torgue has set up an arena in an attempt to find the champion, and open the vault.
"New-ish" enemy types are included - Psychos, marauders, and company get a biker styled makeover. The DLC has a heavy biker vibe, with muscle cars and motorcycles seen throughout (Torgue, torque, get it?). Competing in the arena requires a sponsor, of which there will be a range of. Several famous Pandoran faces return in the new DLC, including Tannis, and Mad Moxxi with Tiny Tina as potential sponsors for the vault hunter.
After Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, Gearbox has two more add-on campaigns scheduled to release in the coming months.
Speaking with GameZone, Gearbox President Randy Pitchford said, "We are just getting started and have incredible momentum to improve and add to the game all the way through the holiday season and beyond. We can't wait to show everyone what more we have in store for Borderlands 2."
