It's a question that has been bothering "The Walking Dead" fans since April: Who did Negan kill in the Season 6's tense finale? The world will finally know the answer this fall, but just ahead of that, Michael Cudlitz may have confirmed it wasn't Abraham Ford. That's because the two characters might be set for a showdown in "The Walking Dead" Season 7!
Michael Cudlitz Teases "A World With Negan And Abraham" In 'The Walking Dead' Season 7?
In the comic books, Abraham died in the most depressing way. The character was shot in the eye with a crossbow while he was out on patrol with Eugene. But wait, it sounds a lot like the way Denise died in "The Walking Dead" Season 6, right? Well, Michael Cudlitz noticed the plot twist and believes it could mean Abraham will be safe in "The Walking Dead" Season 7.
Michael Cudlitz told PopSugar (via Comic Book Movie) that the change probably means that "Abraham will continue for a while now." He also teased that fans should expect to see more of his character's possible interaction with Negan in "The Walking Dead" Season 7.
"Now we get to see what a world with Negan and Abraham both in it will be like," Cudlitz declared. In addition to that, the character's escape from "potential death" could also mean that somebody else will be able to avoid Lucille in "The Walking Dead" Season 7.
Will 'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Keep Glenn Safe From Negan's Swing Of Death?
Some fans believe that if Abraham managed to evade his comic book death in the TV series, it is possible that Glenn will not meet his grisly fate in "The Walking Dead" Season 7. Unfortunately, this just means that another character will be taking Glenn's place in front of Negan.
Do you think Abraham will avoid being Negan's victim? Will Glenn survive in "The Walking Dead" Season 7? Let us know in the comments.
