"The Originals" season 4 is filled with rumors and speculations after the explosive ending last season. After the cancellation rumors for season 4, fans are now trying to know more what could happen to the different characters, especially to Klaus and Marcel.

"The Originals" season 4 will start with a five-year time jump from the events of the last season. Fans will see Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Mogan) waking up from a deep sleep of pure agony. How he wakes up is something that fans are speculating.
"The Originals" season 4 spoilers suggest that a powerful villain will prompt Marcel Gerard (Charles Michael Davis) to wake up Klaus from his coma. The new villain will reportedly come after Klaus to settle centuries-old grudge per TV Guide. The big bad villain was described as a sadistic vampire.

More so, "The Originals" season 4 spoilers say that Marcel may have actually saved Klaus from getting killed in the previous season. While this could be far-fetched, it could be a possibility. Executive producer Julie Plec pointed out that several individuals have plans on killing Klause.
Julie Plec said that with the five-year jump, a lot of people have visited New Orleans and attempted to kill Klaus. However, the fact that he's still alive in "The Originals" season 4 is something that fans can thank Marcel for.
Does this mean Klaus and Marcel would reconcile in "The Originals" season 4? While it doesn't appear so, it's still a possibility. Particularly if they need each other to defeat the sadistic villain and save everybody in town.
Rebekah Joins The Gang
Meanwhile, Claire Holt teased fans that her character Rebekah Mikaelson will join her family in "The Originals" season 4, per Morning Ledger. Speaking at Asia Pop Comic-Con Manila, Holt revealed that she wants to see Rebekah united with her family once more. Then the Mikaelson could form a team.
Fans saw the Mikaelson siblings (Rebekah, Elijah, Kol and Freya) under a dreamscape after Klaus made his heroic act. Rebekah and Elijah ended up in Freya's world and they are to remain there until a cure is discovered. It remains unknown if the Mikaelson siblings will be reunited in "The Originals" season 4.
