"FIFA 17" is set for release in September 2016 and gamers are already excited about the new additions, features and challenges. EA Sports shared that "FIFA 17" will actually become available to certain players before the official launch dates.
"FIFA 17" will first release in North America on Sept. 27, 2016, while European players will get it on September 29. The earliest date that gamers can avail of the official "FIFA 17" is on September 22, when the Xbox One S bundle launches with the game at a price of $399.
EA Sports told Goal that "FIFA 17" will become available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox on September 12, although it is still unclear which teams will be playable in the demo public launch. There are claims that Manchester United, Juventus, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich will be included.
"FIFA 17" fans should not expect a lot from the demos, particularly the Ultimate Team mode. They can try the basic gameplay options like no penalty shootouts and halves lasting only four minutes. Even more so, Mirror reported that one of the best features of "FIFA 17" is its Ultimate Team mode, where players can be traded, won, bought, collected and fielded just like trading cards.
Some of the improvements in "FIFA 17" include creating challenges, forming a starting XI using only two different nationalities and a chemistry rating above 60. It also covers the FUT Champions where players can battle for in-game rewards using a global leaderboard. "FIFA 17" players also look forward to picking game legends from various eras.
"FIFA 17" will include a new story mode, titled "The Journey," where players will control a player named Alex Hunter, who will rise to football stardom. Hunter is 17 years old, from Clapham, and the grandson of Jim Hunter, former England forward. Players can start at any of the 20 Premier League clubs, depending on the player's option.
EA Sports also announced that "FIFA 17" will include the likenesses of all 20 Premier League managers. There will be new attacking techniques, improved artificial intelligence, physical player overhaul and the ability to plan set-piece approaches.
