"Final Fantasy 7 Remake" has been rumored to come in multiple parts structure and since fans have been asking for clarifications, Square Enix stepped forward and confirmed that the upcoming remake version is indeed composed of multiple games. The video game developer explained that rather than releasing a series of mini episodes, they will be offering several full-sized games.
Moreover, as Square Enix made the decision to revive "Final Fantasy 7" through the remake, it was revealed that the creators will not be bringing back all the characters in that sequel. Then again, fans were assured that they will still be seeing many familiar names because all the famous characters are making their comebacks.
Another sure thing is the fact that "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" is returning with great changes as various improvements and upgrades have been applied to the game. One example of such change is the introduction of better graphics which will be a far cry from when it was first released in 1997. In addition, players can expect enhancements on the battle systems and gameplay which will be at par with another Square Enix game, "Kingdom Hearts."
Further, in his previous interview with Game Informer, Yoshinori Kitase, producer of "Final Fantasy 7 Remake," shared other details about the upcoming game. He said that, although it is based on the preexisting story, it will bring many surprises and will be very different from the original version.
"We have archived versions of our games, and when people play them, it usually starts off with nostalgia since they are basically following the story they already know," Kitase said. "In that sense, we want to balance the areas we would change and what will remain to invoke nostalgia while also incorporating the surprises."
Meanwhile, "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" was first reported to hold its launching day on December but others claimed that it will be released in the first quarter of 2017. The date certainly confused fans but there has never been any confirmation from Square Enix until now.
So, when is the game really coming out? According to some Reddit users, they are sure that it will be released on December 2017. They explained that they got know about the date after receiving emails from Amazon.
Apparently, they pre-ordered and the confirmation email also contain the expected release date of "Final Fantasy 7 Remake." Amazon posted the end of 2017 as the arrival date of the game and this will hold true until Square Enix clarifies this matter and announce the official date.
