Fans are about to see a lot of changes as "Arrow" Season 5 comes. Aside from Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), his half-sister Thea (Willa Holland) is about to let her star shine in the upcoming installment. The role of the 25-year-old star is set to surprise everyone with her personality as she lands a new role in Star City.
Thea Will Be Oliver's Chief Of Staff?
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim told Entertainment Weekly that Thea will becoming Oliver's chief of staff in "Arrow" Season 5. This time, she will show what she can do without the help of her father, Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman). In fact, she will be surprised to know her own capacity and ability to save the city.
"All the skills that she learned by watching her mother for all those years, as well as running Verdant, she's found very transferrable to City Hall," Marc Guggenheim teased. "And in many ways, she's a much better chief of staff than Oliver is a mayor," the 45-year-old writer added. Evidently, Thea will be an even better leader that could surpass Oliver in "Arrow" Season 5.
Thea's Character Progress
According to Screen Rant, fans are about to see Thea's character progress in "Arrow" Season 5 and if she's going to adopt her mother's ways. She is set to become stronger and more mature as she gets involved in Oliver's campaign and other responsibilities. Here, viewers will also learn if she will ever fairly fight the city's dirty politics or if she'll choose to fight with her fist, bow and arrow.
Although Oliver is now the mayor of Star City in "Arrow" Season 5, he will not turn his back as a vigilante who saves the metropolis. As a matter of fact, he will continue to be the Green Arrow. Of course, he will get the help of Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and the incoming new recruits to face the new baddie, Tobias Church (Chad L. Coleman). "Arrow" Season 5 is set to return on Oct. 5 on The CW.
