When it's about Apple, there are bound to be rumors and the latest one doing the rounds is that the Apple iPad Mini 5 may be released alongside iPhone 7. Rumors suggest that the tech giant will be overhauling the design and specifications of the new iPad Mini 5 and iPad Air 3. If that's not all, more rumors suggest that the iPad 5 Mini may be renamed to iPad Pro Mini.
Whether there is any underlying truth to these rumors remains to be tested but for the time being they are fun to keep the anticipation up. There have been no official announcements from Apple nor teasers or leaks that can confirm these iPad Mini 5 rumors.
However, going by previous releases, iPad Mini 5 may have a look similar to its predecessors. Tech enthusiasts believe the said device will not have many changes from its previous versions. Some even anticipate that the iPad Mini 5 may also be smaller in size. Tim Cook-led Apple is focusing only on its iPhone 7 smartphone. Macbook Pro 2016 launch may also happen somewhere in October.
iPad Mini 5's camera may also be similar to that of iPad Mini 4, an 8MP front camera and a 1.2MP selfie camera. It may have iPhone6s' 3D Touch feature too that would allow users to draw gestures on the screen using their fingers, writes The Bitbag.
If Apple decks up the iPad Mini 5 with an A9 processor, it will be significantly faster than the iPad Mini 4 that uses an A8. For now, the focus is entirely on iPhone 7 and certain reports have revealed that the Apple may be dumping its 16GB variant and add a 256GB to its line, which may only be available in iPhone 7 Plus. iPhone 7 may also offer a bigger display and replace its 3.5mm earphone jack with the lightning port.
