The showrunner must have gotten so many messages about the possibility that Todd Lasance will play Savitar in "The Flash" Season 3. Greg Berlanti has decided to tweet about the issue, confirming that the series has not yet found its real Savitar.

Todd Lasance's 'The Flash' Season 3 Character Confirmed As The Rival
According to TVLine, Todd Lasance will portray The Rival in "The Flash" Season 3. In the comic books, the character has gone up against Jay Garrick.
But will The Rival be different from Savitar? "The Flash" co-showrunner Todd Helbing explained that the character is unlike any other speedster in "The Flash" Season 3.
"Savitar in Hindu means 'the god of speed,' and he has this sort of cult-like essence, where he's sort of like the speed god," Helbing said. He also added that the character is "different than Zoom or Reverse-Flash."
It certainly sounds like Barry Allen will have his hands full in "The Flash" Season 3. There are two other villains confirmed for this year, which includes Mirror Master and Doctor Alchemy. Find out if Barry can defeat them all when the new season airs on The CW on October 4.
