With August now coming to a close, Xbox Live Gold members are now looking forward to the game titles that will be made available for the Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Xbox One Free Games
“Earthlock: Festival of Magic” was previously announced as one of the free games for the Xbox Live Games with Gold for September, taking the place of “Warriors Oroch 3: Ultimate”. It will be available for free from Sept. 1 to 30 for the Xbox One, Major Nelson reported. Other games coming include “Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China” for the Xbox One from Sept. 16 to Oct. 15.
Xbox 360 Free Games
For the Xbox 360, “Forza Horizon” will be available from Sept. 1 to 15 while “Mirror’s Edge” will be up from Sept. 16 to 30. Like the previous offerings, both games will be available for play on the Xbox One thanks to the Xbox One backwards compatibility program.
Overall, the game titles announced seem credible though some gamers could hold off on “Earthlock” – being a game that is the virtually new and unknown in the mix. A lot of this is because it is a brand new game. Being a freebie, this the best chance for players to get acquainted with the role-playing game.
Moving over, the other game titles are pretty familiar. “Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China” is a familiar game title though it has mixed reviews which point to the Xbox 360 games as the best of the pack for next month. “Mirror’s Edge” and “Forza Horizon” are pretty much popular and well-known, offering gamers options on which game genre they want to get and play.
