Last week, Niantic made a clear statement that the "Pokemon Go" developers will permanently ban cheaters if they are caught. Even though the game has received bad reviews on some of its features such as the unreliable tracking feature, Niantic is focusing their time on probing and identifying players of "Pokemon Go" who cheat in the game.
However, their scheme back fired when a report spawned that one of the best "Pokemon Go" players in the world got a temporary ban from the game developers for being too good in the game. The worst part was the banned happened in a "Pokemon Go" event.
According to BGR, "Pokemon Go" player Jimmy Derocher got a temporary ban from the game developers after he managed to gain 1 million XP in one day without cheating. Derocher then posted his tracks on Reddit in making such an incredible amount of XP in "Pokemon Go" since some players have accused him of cheating the game.
Derocher did a series of walking from one pokestop to another and mapping out his city in Austin, Texas while playing "Pokemon Go." Jimmy Derocher did a lap of 10 pokestops within the city in order to attain 1 million experience points before he got banned by Niantic.
On the player's Facebook account, Derocher explained that Niantic had an anti-botting policy, which is typically known to hardcore players of "Pokemon Go" as soft ban. It is a 24-hour cheating prevention tool that halts certain players from getting more XP than they should have in a day of playing.
In the course of the game, everybody should know that cheating in "Pokemon Go" cause players being permanently banned from the game or even getting too good in the game can also lead to the same result. Stay tuned to Gamenguide for more "Pokemon Go" news and updates!
