People can't stop talking about the recent casting news for "Game of Thrones" Season 7. There are several speculations that some old characters will appear in flashbacks. However, it looks like a new character will connect the series to a chapter taken from George R.R. Martin's novel "The Winds of Winter".
'Game Of Thrones' Season 7 Looking For "Lovely Lady"! Could This Be Euron Greyjoy's Lover Falia Flowers?
The "Game of Thrones" Season 7 casting call immediately had people talking about Rhaegar Targaryen's possible appearance in the series. Some fans even wondered if the show is looking for a young Robert Baratheon who could also pop up in a flashback. However, one particular role seemed to suggest that HBO will tackle the dreaded Damphair chapter from "The Winds of Winter".
The show is currently looking for an actress who could play "Lovely Lady", who happens to be "an attractive young courtesan" (via Winter Is Coming). It also happens to be a "good speaking part" with plenty of nudity, which means that the character will have plenty of scenes in "Game of Thrones" Season 7.
So is this Euron Greyjoy's lover Falia Flowers? Will she connect the new season to the terrifying Damphair chapter in "The Winds of Winter"?
In "A Song of Ice and Fire", Falia is the bastard daughter of Lord Humfrey Hewett of Oakenshield. She becomes Euron Greyjoy's lover in the book "A Feast for Crows", where she suggests that women serving the ironborn must be naked. Falia herself is usually nude in the novels, especially in the Damphair chapter.
The "Winds of Winter" Damphair chapter reveals Falia has become pregnant with Euron Greyjoy's child. His brother Aeron tries to tell her to escape before Euron kills her, but she refuses. She is last seen being tied naked to the prow of Euron's ship and Aeron realizes that her tongue has been cut out.
Will Falia Flowers meet a horrible fate in "The Winds of Winter"? Is she destined to become Euron's victim in "Game of Thrones" Season 7? The series will return to HBO next summer.
