Skyfall DLC Available Today for PS3 Versions of 007 Legends (Check out the Trailer Here!)

PS3 fans get to celebrate today, as they're getting the Skyfall DLC today, instead of having to wait until Nov. 20 like Xbox 360 players. Even better, it'll be available fore free. Check out the trailer below!

Speaking with the PlayStation blog in October, Legends developer Eurocom stated, "The action from the film bookends the other missions and we've built the overarching narrative of the game around a pivotal event that occurs early on in the film. During the Skyfall mission, we visit two striking locations that have been faithfully recreated from the film, and we also feature some of the film's fantastic acting talent, including Daniel Craig as Bond."

There was no mention of the DLC including Javier Bardem and his ludicrous looking blonde locks.

In addition to the new mission, PS3 players will also be getting Skyfall characters in the game's multiplayer mode as well. MI6 field agent Eve and the assassin Patrice will feature in the mode, each bringing their own special abilities.

In addition to Skyfall, Legends encompasses missions from some of Bond's most notable films, one for each Bond actor (though the likeness for Bond is based on Daniel Craig for each mission), including Goldfinger, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, License to Kill, Die Another Day and Moonraker. It also brings in the infamous characters from each film, such as Oddjob, Jaws, Dr. No, and others.

To date, Legends has received mixed reviews, but mostly negative. IGN said the fact that "it so shamelessly copies from the CoD playbook would be almost forgivable if it actually did a good job of it, but 007 Legends is just so painfully dull. The title currently holds a rating of 45 out of 100 at metacritic, but perhaps this new DLC can turn things around.

007 Legends is out now for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and will be eventually released on Nintendo's upcoming Wii U.
