Sheamus finds himself working the mid-cards though it doesn’t look like the Celtic Warrior minds his current billing. He is currently tied up in a rare best-of-seven tiff with Cesaro which kicked off at SummerSlam 2016.
Sheamus took the first match using the heel-like tactics and ending Cesaro with his patented ‘Brogue Kick’. With the WWE storylines in mind, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the ‘Swiss Superman’ snagging the second matchup in this battle of warriors.
All that aside, Sheamus took time out to talk with IGN. Below are some of the things they discussed.
Sheamus the video game geek
Despite his hulking presence and persona, Sheamus is still human. In fact, he is into video games and admits being into computers.
After initially being into human resources in college, he reveals how his dad enticed him to get into IT. His father was an IT security expert.
WWE 2K17 feedback
Sheamus is one of the many WWE stars expected for WWE 2K17 and says that the game will be good as its predecessors. He credits 2K developers for their work on it and reveals how fan feedback played a key role for WWE 2K17.
He hints at gameplay and graphics to be like no other and is confident gamers will love the upcoming edition.
Sheamus thinking sweep against Cesaro
Going back to reality, Sheamus speaks highly of his best-of-seven series with Cesaro. The pairing is something that hasn’t really gotten much hype though both plan to turn it into something memorable.
Aside from bragging rights, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Sheamus wants to sweep the series against Cesaro. He wants to prove he is the best and establish their marks.
That SummerSlam win could set the tone though Cesaro is tested and someone who can turn things around in a hurry. He may be careless at times but once he perfectly executes his moves (particularly his finishers), the Celtic Warrior may find himself in a world of trouble.
