Fans of "Married at First Sight" season 4 will continue to see Heather Seidel and Derek Schwartz in conflict about the latter's vices. While some couple has managed their conflicts well, Heather and Derek had a harder time resolving theirs.
Heather & Derek Struggle In Marriage
"Married at First Sight" season 4 couples faced conflicts this week, She Knows reported. The website noted that in order for the marriage to work, the couples need to know how to resolve their issues. While some couples have learned how to resolve conflicts, Heather and Derek had a hard time managing theirs.
"Married at First Sight" season 4 couple Heather and Derek are in heated discussion about the latter's smoking and gambling. Heather feels uncomfortable when she learned of Derek's habits. When she confronted Derek about it, Derek felt judged and asked for a compromise.
In response, Derek accused Heather of being an alcoholic, pointing out that alcohol is worse than cigarettes. Instead of resolving and finding a way of working things out, "Married at First Sight" season 4 couple Heather and Derek continues to confront their differences without compromise.

Heather & Derek Refused To Compromise
While it looks worse for Derek and Heather in "Married at First Sight" season 4, the couple admitted that they need to know how to work out their conflict and need to work their issues together, IBTimes noted. In the end, Derek mentions about divorce, which left Heather crying.
"Whether it's with me or whoever it's gonna be when we get divorced, I hope that you are willing to find some sort of compromise, and you're willing to understand that nobody is perfect out there," Derek said to Heather. He added that Heather won't find happiness if she doesn't compromise.
Meanwhile, other couples in "Married at First Sight" season 4 were able to manage their conflicts better. Sonia and Nick had a little misunderstanding during their honeymoon but they were able to forgive and move forward. Lilian and Tom also had a miscommunication about materialism but they were able to go beyond it.
