Niantic is on a cleanup drive to make "Pokemon GO" a fair and fun experience for all. While the company's actions have been rejoiced by many who stuck to fair play, many players are facing a tough time catching their favorite Pokemons.
As many found the "Pokemon GO" in-game tracker unreliable, they were turning to third-party tracking apps and web trackers to find where the critters are. Pokévision, the most-reliable tracker app, has unfortunately faced the ban hammer from Niantic Labs and users are scampering the Internet for alternatives.
While users are now pretty apprehensive checking out alternative apps, Mobile & Apps have listed down few healthy alternatives. For Poketracking, one of the safest bets is Poke Radar, known to players as "built by Pokemon GO enthusiasts for Pokemon GO enthusiasts."
It is probably safer for "Pokemon GO" players to rely on crowdsourced tracker maps to avoid getting banned and accounts closed. Poke Radar allows trainers to share their discoveries through the app. Although not 100 percent accurate, it is the best alternative to Pokévision currently available. The app is available both on Android and iOS operating systems.
Another alternative is PokéCrew where users can filter specific "Pokemon GO" Pokemons one wants to catch and the app shows it on the map. SkipLagged, primarily a travel website providing information on affordable hotels and flights, may also help one nab that elusive Snorlax. In case users want to know where the nests are and where Pokemons commonly spawn, a good tracker would be Pokenest.
While users may try out these apps, it is best to tread lightly as Niantic may permanently ban people using third-party apps for "Pokemon GO." Apps that are most-like to face ban would be the ones using spoof GPS and those having access to Niantic servers. Players using calculators and Pokemon locators will also be stripped off their accounts.
