Grand Theft Auto 5 News: Rockstar Announces Release Date For New Trailer

Rockstar Games announced that the second trailer for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto V would debut on Wednesday Nov. 14. The trailer will be available to watch first on the Rockstar Newswire and at the game's official site.

The trailer was suppose to release last week, but due to the recent hurricane that devastated the north east, the New york City- based company delayed the production and release of the trailer. The trailer was supposed to release exactly one year after the original trailer, which released on Nov. 2, 2011.

This will be fans second glimpse at the new reimagined Los Santos, which was previously featured as one of three cities in 2004's Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, from the series' third era of games.

The first trailer gave fans a t look at Los Santos and its fictional depictions of real-life locations in Los Angeles and its California surroundings, including Hollywood, which is Vinewood in the new game. The trailer included additional sites and images including characters playing golf, planes, jetskis, and a working gym.

Recently RockStar announced that the game would be arriving in April 2013 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The company has not announced a Wii U or PC version of the game as of right now.

In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, gang member Carl "CJ" Johnson returns home from Liberty City to Los Santos, San Andreas, after learning of his mother's murder. Johnsons quickly runs into the corrupt cops, old rivals and he finds his friends and family in disarray.

The game was homage to the urban movies that depicted growing up in a Los Angeles during the early 1990s, an era of extreme gang violence. Previous games in the series have also paid homage to films including Vice City, which shared plot elements with "Scarface" and "Carlito's Way."

It will be interesting to see what the development team at Rockstar has in store for the game in the series. The game is now availble fore pre-order you can read the details here.
