"Overwatch" has some scheduled updates soon, and before it, some promised patches are bound to come forward. This pertains to the critical PTR patch which has now been made live.
Simple as it may seem, the "Overwatch" patch has a few prerequisites in order to function properly. Gamers are to pay attention to these details before the patch next month surfaces.
According to The Bit Bag, the "Overwatch" PTR patch, or the Public Test Region, promises updates for the user interface, hero balance, competitive play and more. As for the requirements, there are few that players need to be sure on having.
An "Overwatch" game license for Windows PC, as well as a Battle.net account that has no record of bans or suspension. Players must also have "Overwatch" installed and with log-in of at least once.
As for the process, players have to restart Battle.net desktop application. After which, the gamers are to open the "Overwatch" tab, select PTR: Overwatch as labelled on the REGION/ACCOUNT drop down, go to INSTALL and finally, PLAY.
Game Spot reported that "Overwatch" is certainly preparing for the season 2 update on September 6. Apart from the aforementioned, the skill-rating system is to be changed, and will be omitting Sudden Death as well.
Because of these changes in "Overwatch," players cannot help but think on what else is in store for the game. For the time being, balances for heroes such as Genji's double jump and dashing abilities have been addressed by Blizzard Entertainment.
