It looks like the return of "Making a Murderer" Season 2 will create a big question if Steven Avery is really guilty or not. In the continuation of the documentary TV series, fans will see the thorough investigation of the 54-year-old convicted's case with his new lawyer Kathleen Zellner.
Evidence That Could Solve The Problem
"Making a Murderer" Season 2 will solely focus its attention on investigating the revealed evidence and even the people involved in the crime. In fact, as fans are really looking after the case, a Reddit user believed that a single proof could lead to solve the problem.
According to Movie News Guide, the Reddit user named Wewannawii revealed that Steven Avery's thumbprint could be the answer everyone is looking for that could close the case. Teresa Halbach's Motorola Razr was discovered in the American man's container, the same tub where he allegedly burnt his victim's corpse. Although the cellphone was already broken, its battery might bare his imprints as the heat said to "sear fingerprints into metal and glass."
Also, the fact that Teresa Halbach's belongings were found in Steven Avery's possession could be used as big evidence in "Making the Murderer" Season 2. The Reddit user, too, suggested that if his prints were nowhere to be seen in her things, the investigators could look to the blotch similar to Avery's scars on his fingers.
Brendan Dassey's Liberty Could Lead To A New Story
Meanwhile, Yahoo! News reported that "Making a Murderer" Season 2 is set to put all of its attention to the petition of Steven Avery's instead of his young nephew Brendan Dassey. However, it looks like the 26-year-old accessory to the crime's case is moving ahead compared to his uncle's as he is about to get freed in three months time.
Brendan Dassey's liberty could lead to a new "Making a Murderer" Season 2 story as it seems like he is really innocent of the crime. As he aired his side, he might only be forced to do the offense as he was easily influenced because of his young age and inability to think straight cause of mental illness. Netflix has yet to announce the return of "Making a Murderer" Season 2, but it is expected to be released in 2017.
