With "Steven Universe" Season 4 Episode 3 air date just days away, anticipation of the highly enjoyable Cartoon Network series is building up. Once again, fans are beginning to wonder what it going to happen to Steven and the rest of the gang.
'Steven Universe' Season 4 'Know Your Fusion' Recap
The previous "Steven Universe" was exactly what its title suggested - knowing Steven and Amethyst's fusion, a being called Smoky. After revealing their ability to fuse, Garnet and Pearl were ecstatic and promptly fused into Sardonyx trying to lure out the special weapons or skills of the new fusion Smoky.
While Smoky was at first proud of their new yo-yo skill, it appears that it was not what Sardonyx was looking for. Sardonyx then subjected Smoky to a series of tests in order to reveal the new fusion's special skill or weapon but Smoky failed in all of them.
When the magical room they were in started crumbling due Sardonyx's sudden separation into Garnet and Pearl in "Steven Universe" Season 4 Episode 2, Smoky was finally able to demonstrate to them how versatile the yo-yo can be. After saving everyone, Steven spelled it out to them that for him, the new "weapon" was just a toy but a very useful one at that.
