BIGBANG is celebrating their 10th year in the business this month. While the popular South Korean boy band are not showing any signs of slowing down, their career may come to a screeching halt when their mandatory military service will finally catch up to them.

BIGBANG G-Dragon (Kwon Ji-yong), T.O.P. (Choi Seung-hyun), Taeyang (Dong Young-bae), Daesung (Kang Dae-sung), and Seungri (Lee Seung-hyun) have been dubbed as the kings of K-pop for they consistently dominate the charts even with new K-pop bands forming here and there. But could 2016 be the last year for the kings of K-pop, BIGBANG?
News Everyday reports that BIGBANG G-Dragon opened up about their upcoming mandatory military service. "Whenever our country calls us, we'll go. We don't know when or who it will be, so I want to show people the five-member BIGBANG for as long as we're allowed," BIGBANG G-Dragon said.

Although it sounds like BIGBANG G-Dragon has already accepted their fate and that they are ready to serve their country, his worries is not because they're leaving, but what will happen if they come back from their service. "We'll go and do our duty well. It's the aftermath that's the problem. However, when that time arrives, we might be older and have changed our minds. Although we will always be BIGBANG, we don't know what will happen when we come back [from enlistment]."

The future for BIGBANG may still be uncertain for now, but BIGBANG G-Dragon reassured fans that he will be back in the public eye when he gets his confidence back again after service. BIGBANG is set to celebrate their 10th year anniversary in a special concert on August 20.
