"General Hospital" spoilers reveal that Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) may fear for her baby because of malaria, which could mean Helena Cassadine's curse is working.

The latest "General Hospital" spoilers reveal that Sam Morgan may not fully celebrate the pleasant news of her pregnancy since she's worried about her baby, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported. Last week, fans saw Sam withholding the baby news from Jason but this won't stay for long. Sam is just waiting for a confirmation from Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) that her malaria test will turn out negative.
To recall, the Cassadine Island crew returned from Greece with the possibility of being positive of Malaria. In fact, Jason was diagnosed and already recovered from it. While no one else from the "General Hospital" cast proved positive, Sam's pregnancy came at a bad time.
She would be doubly worried when Dr. Finn explained the effects of the disease to pregnant women. While malaria symptoms and side effects could easily be managed by a healthy person like Jason, it's going to be severe for a pregnant woman like Sam, "General Hospital" spoilers hinted.

This will prompt Sam to believe the Helena Cassadine's (Constance Towers) Curse is working on her baby. "General Hospital" spoilers reveal that Helena's words stuck deeply to Sam: "Those who begot you, and those you begat, and all those who touch you will never know happiness in this life."
While Sam's parents are out of the picture, Sam can't help but feel fear for her baby. If the tests return positive of malaria, then she can't help but feel that Helena's curse is really working. "General Hospital" may not believe in curse but there's no telling Helena's curse.
