WWE 2K17 continues to render updates for the upcoming game and the latest is the addition of four new wrestlers plus the official soundtrack.
The last time out, a previous post touched on the WWE 2K17 roster still missing out a lot of names. The notable addition at that time were the McMahon family (Vince, Stephanie and Shane) but recent updates have somehow compensated for that.
22 and counting
Though there were previous updates last week, the latest right now is that the list has swelled to 22. The official list as of this writing thus includes: Alicia Fox, Andre the Giant, Baron Corbin, Big E, Billy Gunn, Braun Strowman, Bret Hart, the British Bulldog, Cesaro, Charlotte, Daniel Bryan, Edge, Finn Balor, Hideo Itami, Jake "the Snake" Roberts, Kalisto, Randy Orton, Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat, Sin Cara, the Rock, Triple H and Tyson Kidd.
The new list appends the previous 19 announced last week. For those who missed that, the Miami Herald report included: Aiden English, Booker T, Brian Pillman, Brie Bella, Chris Jericho, Diego, Erick Rowan, Fernando, Heath Slater, Jey Uso, Jim Neidhart, Jimmy Uso, Konnor, Larry Zbyszko, Nikki Bella, R-Truth, Simon Gotch, Ultimate Warrior and Viktor.
New additions are expected to come out in the coming weeks as 2K ramps up the release of WWE 2K17 set for next month (October 11).
‘Diddy’ at it again
Sean “Diddy” Combs has been a familiar fixture behind the sounds of WWE 2K and as expected, he is behind the soundtrack of WWE 2K17. He brought together a mix of music genres ranging from rock, electronic dance, heavy metal and hip-hop which can be seen in the video below.
Brock Lesnar calls out Bill Goldberg
Aside from Brock Lesnar, Bill Goldberg is the other coverboy for the pre-order exclusives of WWE 2K17. Cageside Seats reports that Goldberg will be at New York for SummerSlam and such is expected to generate buzz once more for another showdown between the WWE titans.
In fact Lesnar posted a video for a while calling out Goldberg using the latter’s popular catchphrase “You’re next”. That dish is likely to attract some attention but was it aimed at an actual match (think “Wrestlemania 33”) or simply something used to hype WWE 2K17?
