"Kingdom Hearts" 3 will include a massive storyline that requires it to be released in three parts. More so, the upcoming game is said to be the last of the franchise.
Huge Storyline For 'Kingdom Hearts' 3
Talking to Japanese Magazine Famitsu, "Kingdom Hearts" 3 director Tetsuya Nomura revealed that the game will have a huge storyline, Gamepur reported. He was quoted saying that "Kingdom Hearts" 3 is overwhelmingly big even saying that he may encounter problems on how to present the game to the fans.
"It's not that I've spread the story out, perhaps it's more that I've separated the parts that would have ruined [Kingdom Hearts 3's] tempo if they were told then," Nomura was quoted saying. "In fact, [Kingdom Hearts 3] is overwhelmingly big, so it's not that content has been shaved off, and it's something I've worried over how to handle."
So fans could easily grasp the story of "Kingdom Hearts" 3, the game director shortened the introduction. He admitted that he himself doesn't want to listen to long explanations, Christian Today reported.

Last Instalment In The Series?
While most fans have accepted that "Kingdom Hearts" 3 will be the last game in the series, many are still hoping that Square Enix will still continue to create games. "Kingdom Hearts" 3 will be the end of Sora's journey and the final chapter in the Dark Seeker saga. Although co-director Tai Yasue hinted that a collection may be released for PlayStation 4.
On a separate note, BitBag mentioned that "Kingdom Hearts" 3 will not be among the games that Square Enix will show off on Gamescom 2016. "Final Fantasy" 7 will so not make it to the publisher's presentation.
"Kingdom Hearts" 3 will be released in three parts as previously hinted. Square Enix hasn't announced any release date. However, fans are expecting the game should be released next year for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
