‘Pokemon Go’ Latest News, Release Date & Update: How To Reel In The Legendary, Rare Critters

The race is on for the best “Pokemon Go” hunters out there, many of which have probably gotten hold of the standard ‘Pidgeys’, ‘Rattatas’ or ‘Magikarps’. But as everyone knows, the hard-to-find characters are the ones that need attention.

There are the region-specific rares to attend to. That includes “Mime” (Europe), “Tauros” (North America), “Kangaskhan” (Australia) and “Farfetch’d” (Asia), all covered in a previous post which you can read here.

Training up to find them

A key towards getting hold of those “Pokemon Go” rares is to level up through training. Some may have not noticed it but the characters appearing has been recurring. But like other games, there are specific levels to satisfy before the rare (and good) ones pop up.

Hunting for them by going places is one thing though there are other things to help increase a player’s XP. That includes using the Incubators, Lucky Eggs, Potions and PokeStops to help.

There are some who have managed to level up at some point, the manner of which could be legal or not. But as mentioned repeatedly, using the ‘cheat’ way is fine as long as you don’t get caught and eventually banned.

Niantic is slowly settling down, issuing patches and address the exploitive players. For those who want to keep on playing, it may be best to play fair and save yourself the trouble of being kicked out.

There are tactics and tricks players can turn to such as the Pidgey grinding trick or manners to get hold of the Great Balls and/or Ultra Balls. Tracking the “Pokemon Go” characters may be tough but players may want to pay more attention to the XP progress screen above anything else.

The player level plays an integral role for folks who want to spot the rares. If you are bent on seeing (and eventually catching) them, work on your character to the suited level.
