It's finally happening: Netflix has confirmed that "Stranger Things" Season 2 will happen, because life is meaningless without it. But what could happen when the hit series returns to the network? Millie Bobby Brown teases that show creators the Duffer brothers have "something" lined up for the next season.
Netflix has been notoriously quiet about the highly anticipated renewal of "Stranger Things". Fans were expecting the network to announce "Stranger Things" Season 2 during the recent Television Critics Association press day. However, the presentation has come and gone without any word about the Duffer brothers' series. But now, Netflix has confirmed that the show will be renewed.
Netflix Confirms 'Stranger Things' Season 2 Because They Would Be "Dumb" If They Didn't
The news comes from The Guardian, who recently spoke to Netflix chief executive Reed Hastings. Strictly speaking, Hastings did NOT confirm that "Stranger Things" Season 2 has already been locked down. However, he did say Netflix "would be dumb not to" bring the series back.
Although Reed Hastings did not confirm "Stranger Things" Season 2 just yet, Millie Bobby Brown is understandably excited about returning as Eleven. But how will El's return be explained in the new season?
'Stranger Things' Season 2: Millie Bobby Brown Says The Duffer Brothers Have Big Plans For Eleven
Millie Bobby Brown isn't sure if or when "Stranger Things" Season 2 will happen. However, she is looking forward to what the Duffer brothers have in store for her character Eleven (via Joe.ie).
"Matt and Ross Duffer are very open-minded," Brown told BBC One Radio of the show creators. "They're amazing geniuses and I'm sure they'll think of something if there's a Season 2."
Hopefully, Millie Bobby Brown will return with more hair in "Stranger Things" Season 2. Game & Guide has already reported about the possibility that El's comeback would also mean the Demogorgon will be a part of the new season.
