Will Forte Discusses The Making Of 'The Last Man on Earth'
Fox picked up "The Last Man on Earth" for a 13-episode Season 1 and continued it to have an 18-episode Season 2. Of course, both seasons have been led by Will Forte himself and admitted that the "first two years" of the post-apocalyptic comedy series were "really hard." He explained that writing and acting for a show at the same time nvolved a really "insane amount of work" that gave him a hard tim at first. "You can't really sit down to write until after the acting is done. And then, of course, you've gotta edit on the weekends," he explained, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In fact, the load of works Will Forte had on writing and acting in "The Last Man on Earth" also affected his health. He even described that he lost about 30 to 40 pounds only by working for Season 1. Eventually, the comedian learned to adjust and keep up with the demands of his work and his acting. He even boasted that he can't do all of these without the help of the people he loves.
Additional Cast
Meanwhile, Will Forte hinted that "Last Man on Earth" Season 3 will see "New... Malibu... Death." He also added that the new installment will exactly start from where Season 2 left off. Also, one from the two Hazmat personalities, who were once with Pat (Mark Booner Junior), would be part of the cast, as per Entertainment Weekly.
"We know already who one is - one is the guy who played Pat ... We all know who the second person is, and I'm very excited about that person. We don't know who the third person is," Will Forte teased about the coming of "Last Man on Earth" Season 3. With all that, he is only looking forward to have a very special Helen Mirren episode, titled "The Last Mirren on Earth." "Last Man on Earth" Season 3 will air on Sept. 25 on Fox.
