"Pokemon Go" Gen 2 is currently in development and players are already excited about the 12 new evolutions that will be introduced in the hit game. Twelve Gen 1 Pokemon can be evolved into Gen 2 Pokemon as soon as the game launches, so players have to save up on candies to get all of these.
Bellossom. Oddish can evolve into Gloom, while Gloom can evolve into Bellossom. "Pokemon Go" players will need 100 candies In the original game, a Sun Stone was required to evolve Gloom into Bellossom. Gloom can also evolve into Vileplume. It is still uncertain whether players get to choose the "Pokemon Go" evolution or if it is random. Blissey. Chansey can evolve into Blissey, which is a second stage evolution needing 50 candies.
FragHero reported that Crobat. Zubat can evolve into Golbat and then into Crobat, which will require 100 "Pokemon Go" candies. Eevee can also evolve into the new Espeon, aside from the other four known forms - Vapereon, Flareon and Jolteon. Umbreaon is another new second stage evolved form for Eevee in "Pokemon Go." Tyrogue can evolve into Hitmontop. It is still uncertain how the new evolved form can be attained, although it may be related with the two other evolutions - Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee. Horsea can evolve into Seadra and then into Kingdra, needing 100 candies.
PokemonGoInformer revealed that Porygon can evolve into Porygon 2, which will require 50 "Pokemon Go" candies, because it is a second stage evolution. Poliwag can evolve into Poliwhirl and then into either Poliwrath or Politoed in "Pokemon Go." In the original games, a Poliwhirl had to be traded to another player while it held a King's Rock. Scyther can evolve into Scizor, which will most likely require 50 candies. Slowbro can evolve into Slowking, which is a third stage evolution, needing 100 candies. Onix can evolve into Steelix, which is a second stage "Pokemon Go" evolution.
It is still unknown whether the new evolutions in "Pokemon Go" will simply require candies or have extra requisites, similar to the original games. More updates and details in "Pokemon Go" are expected soon.
