Gorilla Grodd was last seen in "The Flash" Season 2 Episode 7, where he abducted Caitlin Snow so he can make more apes like him. However, Earth-2 Harrison Wells suggested that Team Flash should send Grodd to a strange world where there will be gorillas like him. "Gorilla Warfare" concluded with a sweeping view of Gorilla City. Now "The Flash" Season 3 will show more of his mysterious new world.

It looks like Gorilla City is the next vacation stop for Barry Allen in "The Flash" Season 3. The show's executive producer Andrew Kreisberg confirmed that Gorilla Grodd's new home will be featured in the new season (via io9). However, it will not just be a quick stop for Team Flash.
Andrew Kreisberg revealed some interesting details during The CW's Television Critics Association presentation. He shared that Team Flash will visit Gorilla City in a storyline that extends over two episodes of "The Flash" Season 3. So does this mean it will be part of the highly anticipated "Supergirl/The Flash" crossover event?
Gorilla Grodd Joins 'Supergirl/The Flash' Musical Crossover Event?
Game & Guide has previously reported about the 'Supergirl/The Flash' crossover event will be a musical. Like the Gorilla City storyline, the crossover will span over two episodes. But is it possible that Grodd's story will be in the crossover event? Fans can only hope to see this would happen in "The Flash" Season 3.
It was not confirmed whether the Gorilla City storyline will be part of the "Supergirl/The Flash" crossover event. "The Flash" Season 3 will premiere on The CW on October 4.
