There are so many expectations about "Stranger Things" Season 2. Fans are already hoping to see Millie Bobby Brown come back as Eleven when the show returns to Netflix. But does this also mean that the Demogorgon will be back to terrorize Hawkins? Is El somehow related to the monster that took Will Byers?
'Stranger Things' Season 2 Theory: Eleven Returns, But Will She Bring The Demogorgon With Her?
It's hard to imagine how "Stranger Things" Season 2 could continue without Eleven. After all, she was the one who stopped the Demogorgon before they both disappeared in the Season 1 finale. But will El's return mean that the monster will come back to Hawkins?
A Reddit theory suggests that the Demogorgon is directly connected to Eleven. The post states that "the monster is actually an extension of Eleven herself." This does not mean that El controls the creature, but it is "a physical manifestation of her troubled psyche." It is possible that there will be more of this in "Stranger Things" Season 2.

The post further points out that Eleven recognized Will Byers in Mike's pictures although she never met him. The fight scene between El and the Demogorgon also saw her raising her right arm, an action that the monster mimicked. Moreover, Eleven plainly apologized to Mike for opening the gate and said, "I'm the monster." Will she return with the creature in "Stranger Things" Season 2?
The theory certainly reveals some compelling evidence towards Eleven's connection to the Demogorgon. However, it is still uncertain whether El and the monster will be brought back in "Stranger Things" Season 2.
Netflix has not yet renewed the series and the fate of "Stranger Things" Season 2 is still ambiguous. Nevertheless, fans are looking forward to seeing the show return to Netflix next summer.
