"Titanfall 2," the highly anticipated sequel to the 2014 multiplayer first-person shooter from Respawn Entertainment is arriving this October, and fans cannot simply wait to get their hands on the game after all the details that have recently come out. The studio has released a new cinematic trailer for the upcoming game, which hits retailers on October 28.
What lacked from its previous iteration is now in "Titanfall 2," as gamers can now enjoy a single player campaign, as featured in the trailer. Respawn has heard the calls of fans and gamers alike, enabling players to go solo in the upcoming sequel. According to Gamerant, the upcoming iteration will also be available on all current-generation platforms, which is definitely a plus for fans of the game.
"Titanfall 2"'s single player campaign definitely looks interesting, as it features Pilot Jack Cooper and his sidekick Titan BT-7274 in a friendlier, more fun relationship that adds humor that reads much like a buddy movie. Players should expect to see more enemy encounters in open areas.
According to IGN, the new "Titanfall 2" focuses more on storytelling throughout the game. In it, players can find the aspiring pilot Cooper alongside his trusty Titan. Cooper is striving to become a pilot with the help of one of the militia's best pilots through secret training sessions. Unfortunately, their ship crash on a planet, where Cooper's pilot friend soon dies. He is then given the keys to the Titan to drive.
Players should look forward to exploring this jungle planet in "Titanfall 2," especially with its single player campaign. Producer Drew McCoy admitted that initially, multiplayer is "too competitive," which is why they decided to go for a single player campaign. He saw it as an opportunity for gamers to enjoy the game without having to go online to compete.
"Titanfall 2" arrives on October 28 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
