Something magical is bound to happen in the highly anticipated "Supergirl/The Flash" crossover event this year. It has just been confirmed that the crossover episodes will both be musicals featuring the talented cast. So does this mean that Music Meister will be the main villain?
'Supergirl/The Flash' Crossover Event Confirmed As A Musical, Because Why Not?
Fans already know that "The Flash" has a talented cast, with Jesse L. Martin and Tom Cavanagh previously performing on Broadway and Carlos Valdez being from "High School Musical". Grant Gustin and "Supergirl" star Melissa Benoist were both in "Glee". Somehow, the "Supergirl/The Flash" musical episode is just inevitable.
"The Flash" executive producer Greg Berlanti has finally revealed that fans will finally hear the superheroes sing. "Yes, there will be a musical crossover," Berlanti announced during The CW's Television Critics Association presentation (via TVLine). But just how will the crossover event explain why the characters are suddenly bursting into song?
Will The 'Supergirl/The Flash' Crossover Event Introduce Music Meister As Main Villain?
A "musical crossover" definitely calls for an appropriate villain, someone who uses songs to manipulate people. Luckily, there is a DC villain who can do this: Music Meister. Although the character is usually seen as one of Batman's foes, Music Meister should be an excellent villain for the "Supergirl/The Flash" crossover event.
It has not yet been confirmed whether Music Meister will appear in the "Supergirl/The Flash" crossover event. Nevertheless, fans are already looking forward to the musical event.
Speaking of the "Supergirl/The Flash" crossover event, The CW also offered some behind-the-scenes details about the previous episode. It was confirmed that Melissa Benoist really likes her ice cream.
