"Battlefield 1" is expanding and as it grows, many new elements are being added to the game. Just recently, Electronic Arts announced that they are preparing to release new items and particularly mentioned a new map and vehicles.
On Aug. 9, EA revealed that they are publishing a new trailer at the Gamescom next week. The clip that will be shown during the livestream event will give fans a glimpse of the new map with battle locations and more.
"Next week at Gamescom, we're deploying it again. On Aug. 16 at 12 p.m. PT or 9 p.m. CEST, a new Battlefield Squads livestream will show off a new map filled with only in Battlefield gameplay," Dan Mitre, EA's global lead community manager wrote on Battlefield's blog.
He added that the new trailer is also coming and it will feature lots of new details about "Battlefield 1." Although the actual map was not yet shared, EA Games slightly hinted that players will get to see brand-new horses, points to capture and objects to destroy.
The new map would be the fifth to be confirmed since the game developer previously unveiled four "Battlefield 1" maps. The first map called Amiens is set in a French city where Germans and the Brits fight to take over the city. The other maps are The St. Quentin Scar, Monte Grappa and the Empire's Edge.
Electronic Arts' announcement regarding the new trailer and map truly excite the fans so they are looking forward to the Gamescom event on Aug. 16. Meanwhile, gamers can expect to see many unseen bits in the upcoming preview clip.
"Battlefield 1" is coming to Playstation 4, Xbox One and MS Windows on Oct. 21. Once released, players will get to experience action-packed adventure with this first-person shooter game that has been set during WW1.
